Hey, I’m Tanya (she/her/hers). I graduated from Texas A&M in 2004 with a BS in Psychology. After graduation, I moved to Fort Worth where I attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and received a MA in Family and Marriage Counseling and a MA in Christian Education. Following graduation in 2007 I have been doing therapy and case management. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor (LPC-S) and a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)-practitioner.

Early life experience and patterns impact and conform current relationships and overall functionality. Our history continues to affect and shape us despite our ability to directly correlate past and present. Without diving in and unpacking the past, unknown or unresolved instances will continue to impact current life. In understanding that no two people are the same, my mission is to know you, connect with where you are and to help you discover your true self. In doing this, the hope is to walk beside you and help you grow in your journey.
I have a passion for helping individuals and walking alongside them so they can become the person they have always wanted to be. Over the course of my career, I have experience working with children, adolescents/ teen, individuals and families on many different issues and diagnosis. Some of my specialties include trauma, grief and loss, history of abuse (physical and emotional), Parent Coaching/Support, Attachment/Relationship issues, Depression, Anger Management, Anxiety, Life Transitional Changes, Spirituality and a variety of behavioral issues with young children and their families.
