My current practice focuses on helping individual adults. While I am eclectic in approach, I primarily utilize techniques and practices drawn from Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Trauma Informed Therapy, and Transactional Analysis. Needs frequently addressed in counseling sessions are depression, anxiety, trauma, family communication, spirituality, inner child work, life transitions, grief and loss, aging and illness, and finding life purpose.

I received a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Angelo State University in 1990, and I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 1993. My work experience includes school counseling (elementary and high school), office-based practice, home-based counseling, and clinical practice.
