Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP) I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University, focusing on Addiction Studies. I specialize in several different forms of Cognitive Behavior Therapy which will help you learn coping skills to help with anger, anxiety, and depression. I am Trauma Informed Nationally Certified, I use psychoeducation and evidenced based practices according to the needs of the individual. I have worked with a wide range of individuals. Including, men, women, and child survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, as well as returning citizen’s population. I have also worked with at-risk-youth youth in the juvenile justice system, including the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. I am extremely passionate about meeting the needs of at-risk youth and their families.
My goal is to create and foster a safe space for individuals to be their authentic selves. I naturally work from a strengths-based and client-centered perspective and feel that collaboration and rapport are key components in the therapeutic process. My goal is to help you heal and flourish in your life. To best facilitate that, we will work together in exploring thoughts, emotions, experiences, relationships, behaviors, etc. I will provide a supportive environment for you to share with me and offer observations, tools, and exercises along the way.
