Licensed Professional Counselor in Round Rock, TX
When unresolved issues are writing our life story, we are not our own autobiographers; we are merely recorders of how the past continues, often without our awareness, to intrude upon our present experience and shape our future directions.
— Daniel J. Siegel, M.D., and Mary Hartzell, M.Ed., Parenting From The Inside Out
Early life experiences often impact and inform current relationships and functioning. Our personal histories continue to affect us in countless unconscious ways. Unresolved past trauma can leave us stuck in our pain, emotionally isolated and depletes our resources. Deeply committed to working alongside others to help them navigate areas of their lives where they feel stuck, I am privileged to be invited on their journey of self-discovery and witness their empowerment and growth.
I invite you to consider how your early life experiences and past relationships may be impacting current relationships and life satisfaction. Therapy is a collaborative, supportive and safe process facilitating an integrated awareness of the past and the present, to grieve past pain, identify reoccurring patterns and let go of long held negative core beliefs about yourself. A process in which you make sense of the events that shaped you and how they inform your present state of being, so you are free to create your own life story not merely a recorder of how the past continues.
