I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Louisiana State University and my internship at Medical University of South Carolina. In both programs, my training focused on clinical child/pediatric psychology. After completing my training, I took a faculty position in the pediatrics department at the Medical College of Ohio where I provided clinical services to children and adolescents with behavioral, emotional and medical issues and taught medical and graduate students about children's issues. I remained in that position for sixteen years until relocating to Texas with my husband and two children in the summer of 2005.
My current practice specializes in children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional problems. Areas of interest include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Depression, Anxiety, Developmental Delay, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Adjustment Issues and coping with chronic illness.
