I am a native Texan, born and raised in Breckenridge, Texas. I received my bachelor’s degree from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia and my graduate degree at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
I have been involved in the addiction and mental health field (inpatient and outpatient) for approximately twenty years. I became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in 1996 and a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2002.
I favor the Solution Focused Therapy approach with a little Person Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I always keep in mind that the needs of each client are unique. I often call on life experiences and the 12 step program for guidance in helping others lead a balanced life.
Church and family are important to me, and I am an avid golfer. |
