I graduated from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University in 1991 with a PsyD and then moved back to Waco, Texas to marry my Baylor sweetheart. I interned and worked for the Temple VA for almost two years particularly with veterans who had post traumatic stress disorder. I began working in private practice in 1992 and worked full time until I had my first child, Marshall, in 1999. We now have added two girls, Kara and Savannah.

I have reduced my practice to conducting evaluations for police and fire department applicants. This allows me to focus on my children and other passions including speaking, teaching and scrapbooking. My heart is now to help moms know just how valuable they are in “training a child in the way he/she should go”. Having just been through my husband’s deployment to Iraq, I now know what it feels like “from the inside”, and I would like to reach out to military families also.
