Aida J. Sapp earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a minor in psychology. She has a wide variety of practice area experiences in nursing including psychiatry, women’s health, medical-surgical, and critical care.
Her Master’s of Science in Nursing (psychiatric/mental health major and nursing education and curriculum minor) and Doctorate with a focus in nursing are both from The University of Texas at Austin.
She has nursing education experience both in community college and university settings. Maintaining a mental health private practice in the greater Temple/Killeen communities for over 16 years, she works with individuals and families to regain health and wellness from the biological, psychosocial, and spiritual perspectives.
She has been a registered nurse in the state of Texas since 1980 and is also a clinical nurse specialist in psychiatric/mental health nursing. In addition, she is a licensed marriage and family therapist. |
