About Counselors of Texas

Counselors of Texas is mental health provider. We are one of the largest private counselling services in Texas. We are open Monday to Saturday and have two offices located in Round Rock, TX and Killeen, TX. We serve the Central Texas area including Austin, Pflugerville, and Cedar Park.

Counselors of Texas has been providing mental health services over the last twenty years. We have been under new management since since September, 2016.

Currently, we have fourteen licensed therapists and four office staff members. We are looking to expand our footprint by adding two more offices in Austin, TX by the beginning of 2018. We will be adding 10 to 16 new therapists to our team over the next year.

We are excited about growing and improving our business. We feel we have two customer types. Number one are the clients to whom we provide licensed professional therapy sessions to and help give guidance through during difficult life situations. The second group are the therapists themselves. We are striving to build a business that is efficient in allowing therapists to concentrate on their unique skills. They can serve their clients while we perform all the administrative duties for them. Our goal at Counselors of Texas is to serve both parties efficiently by streamlining bureaucracy. The therapists and their patients can focus their attention on the one thing that really matters, mental health and wellbeing.

Our primary strength is availability. We have more on-call therapists than most groups. Our therapists serve a wide range of specialities. This allows us to provide tailored counselling to a variety of clients, each with their own unique needs. When you call Counselors of Texas, we make it priority to have a person answer your call and not send it to voicemail. We also respond to all emails within twenty-four hours.

We are proud of the high quality of both our therapists and the effectiveness of our administration staff. Our administration staff are efficient and professional while treating our clients with compassion and empathy.

For us, there is nothing better than getting positive feedback from those we’ve helped. We love it when client comes back and says, "thank you for the guidance you gave me. It has helped me make the changes in my life I needed to live healthier”. We do also welcome not so favorable feedback which assists us in our effort to continually improve our service to our clients.

In the future, we are excited about expanding and improving services available to clients through new technologies and better management practices.
